Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark Established a Sistering Agreement with Villuercas Ibores Jara Geopark of Spain

On 18, April, the sister geoparks signing ceremony between Wangwushan-Daimeishan  Global Geopark and Villuercas Ibores Jara Geopark of Spain celebrated in Jiyuan City,  Maria del Rosario Corfero Martin,the chairman of the provincial council of  Province of Cáceres , Spain and Li Shuangyin, the deputy mayor of Jiyuan City attended the signing ceremony.

On the signing ceremony, Li Shuangyin, the deputy mayor of Jiyuan City delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark. Administrators of both geoparks gave the presentations respectively and communicated on the geoprark management models, geopark planning, geological scientific investigation, environment conservation and market operation.

   In addition, the investigation team conducted the field trip in Wangweushan Scenic Area, Xiaogoubei Scenic Area, the Yellow River Three Gorges Scenic Area and Longtanxia Scenic Area.
