Nyuwa Culture Festival Inaugurated in Xiaogoubei Scenic Area of Wangwushan-Daimeishan UNESCO Global Geopark

Sponsored by Municipal Literature Association, Municipal Tourism Association, Nyuwa culture study base and Shaozhou culture study association, organized by Wangwushan-Daimeishan UNESCO Global Geopark Xiaogoubei Scenic Area, Nynwa cultural tourism festival inaugurated on the morning of April 15 in Jiyuan, China. Tourists from all directions gathered here happily, feeling the unique charm of the mysterious town.    

It is introduced that Nyuwa Festival has been held 9 times in succession, which catches the attention of people from all walks of life. Up to now, Xiaogoubei Scenic Area has received more than three million tourists home and abroad since publicly opened in June 2006. The annual tourism income is over 25 million yuan, boosting the development of local tertiary industry. The Creation Myth Group of Shaoyuan was listed in the intangible cultural heritage directory in August 2008. In recent years, with the construction and development of the geopark, farm paradise in Xiaogoubei Scenic Area, Huanglianshu tourism integrated service area, Shuangfang Nyuwa Valley, Shengou red leaf garden and Xingshuwa holiday resort have taken the fast lane of tourism development gradually.
