Trips to geopark are trips to study and learn

As an education and science popularization base for students, Wangwushan-Daimeishan UNESCO Global Geopark has received students of more than 30 schools since October this year. This may help to promote the after-school program for kids by inviting them to geopark to learn and study.

The idea of having trips to geopark is aimed at broadening the horizon of kids, getting them study and learn more about the nature and society outside school and improving their life skills such as impendence and how to get along with others and solve problems together during the trip. The city of Jiyuan is one of ten demonstrational areas nationwide for students to have trips to study and learn designated by the Ministry of Education and the only one demonstrational area in Henan Province. As a result the geo-museum of Wangwushan-Daimeishan UNESCO Global Geopark is the most important stop where kids not only can learn about geopark and the globe in which we live, but realize the importance of protecting our planet when they visit Jinyuan. More than 20000 students from 30 plus schools have visited the geopark to study and learn while appreciating the beautiful landscapes.
