On May 16, 2015 national public climbing and gym session-Jiyuan Station, and the Ninth International Mountaineering and Tourism Festival was held in Wangwushan Scenic Area, the core area of Wangwushan –Daimeishan Global Geopark, which is sponsored by Chinese Mountaineering Association, Tourism Administration of Henan Province, Henan Provincial Sports Council and People's Government of Jiyuan.
More than one thousand mountaineering-loving people came from Shanxi Province, Hubei Province, Chongqing , Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province and Anhui Province attended the contest.
