Promotion Activity for the 10th Anniversary of the Chinese Global Geoparks Network Held in Jiyuan

On April 22, the Earth Day, an exhibition for the 10th anniversary of the Chinese Global Geoparks Network was held in Jiyuan Culture Plaza. This exhibition was supported by the National Geoparks Network Center, the GGN Beijing Office and Henan Association of Geo-environment Protection and Geo-tourism Development, and organized by Jiyuan Bureau of Land and Resources and the Administration of Wangwushan—Daimeishan Global Geopark.  

In this exhibition, 32 posters of the geological relics and cultural, historical, natural and ecological landscapes of 31 Chinese global geoparks were displayed, each exhibiting giving prominence to the unique geological structure and landscapes of a global geopark. This exhibition played a positive role in reminding people to protect the precious geological heritage and the earth. 

After the two-day exhibition in the Culture Plaza, the 32 posters will be moved to the geological museum of Wangwushan—Daimeishan Global Geopark for the promotion of the geo-tourism during the May Day holiday.
