Talk to the world! Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark participated in the 10th UNESCO Global Geopark Conference

On September 7, the 10th UNESCO World Geoparks Conference was held in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco. The theme of the five-day conference is "Developing Communities in UNESCO Global Geoparks". Wang Weiguo, director of Forestry Bureau of Jiyuan Demonstration Zone, led the team to attend the meeting and make publicity and promotion.

During the meeting, Wang Weiguo, Director of the Forestry Bureau of Jiyuan Demonstration Zone, signed a sister park agreement on behalf of Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark and Mgunn Global Geopark in Morocco, Africa, and the two sides reached cooperation intentions on geological heritage protection, science science and research. This is also another international exchange and cooperation achievement of Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark after the establishment of a sister park with Spain's Viyorkas Ybor Jara Geopark in 2016, and the total number of sister parks is 12, of which 10 are domestic and 2 are foreign.
