Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark invited geological experts from Henan Province to guide the geoconservation work

With the deepening of geological tourism and the continuous improvement of the construction of geopark, the protection of geological relics as the core of the construction of geopark is particularly important. In order to further strengthen the protection of the geoheritage of Wangwushan-Daimei Mountain Global Geopark and actively implement the responsibility of supervision, protection and management of geological relics, on November 29, the Geopark Protection Center invited three geological experts from Henan Provincial Geological Research Institute to give on-site guidance on the protection of geological relics in Jiyuan.

The group of experts mainly carried out a comprehensive and careful inspection of the special grade and first-class geological relics in the park, and put forward protection methods and measures for the distribution, protection status and existing problems of the geological relics in the park. And for how to scientific and reasonable protection, how to take preventive measures and the construction of network remote video surveillance and other issues put forward scientific solutions and guiding opinions.
