Guangwu mountain-nuoshui River UNESCO World Geopark is located in Bazhong City, Sichuan Province. It joined the World Geopark network in April, 2018.

The park is of great scientific significance for analyzing the geological evolution history of the peripheral basins of Tethys, the Qinling (central) orogenic belt and the Sichuan Basin, as well as the evolution and development of the entire Yangtze block. It is also a key area for studying the tectonic transformation relationship between the northern margin of the Yangtze block, the Qinling orogenic belt and the Longmenshan orogenic belt, as well as the continental dynamics and the North-South differences of karst in China. The park has a long cultural history. The Micang ancient road, which began in the Qin Dynasty and flourished in the Han Dynasty, runs through the Qinling Bashan mountains, connects the Yellow River civilization in the Central Plains and the Bashu civilization in the southwest. The cultural and historical landscapes of guancangping and mouyang ancient city in the Qin and Han Dynasties are well preserved, and many folk cultures such as weeding gongs and drums, Bashan shadow puppets, Maoshan songs, bashanbei songs and so on are inherited and carried forward here.

In October, 2020, a sister Park was established with Wangwushan Daimeishan UNESCO World Geopark.
