China Yanqing World Geopark is located in Yanqing District, Beijing. It is composed of four parks, Longqing gorge, Guyaju, Qianjiadian and Badaling, with a total area of 620.38 square kilometers.

Geological relics include northern karst landforms, geological structures and paleontology. Karst landforms include peak clusters, canyons, Tiansheng bridge, etc. Geological structures include hongshiwan dome, Liudaohe anticline, monocline, ripple mark, rain mark, mud crack, stepped fault, piedmont fault, etc. There are sauropod dinosaur footprints, theropod dinosaur footprints, ornithopod dinosaur footprints and silicified wood (white, gray, yellow and brown).

The park is based on Precambrian marine carbonate rocks and centered on the geological relics of the Mesozoic Yanshan movement. It is a comprehensive geological park integrating tectonics, sedimentation, paleontology, magmatism and Northern karst landform.

In October, 2014, it concluded sister parks with Wangwushan-Daimeishan UNESCO World Geopark.
