Ningde UNESCO World Geopark is located in Ningde City, northeast of Fujian Province, China, with Taimu mountain, Baishuiyang Yuanyang River, Baiyun Mountain and Jiulongji scenic area as the core, with a total area of 2660 square kilometers.

The park is located in the activation zone of the Pacific continental margin in the southeast of the Eurasian plate. It is part of the Mesozoic volcanic eruption zone along the southeast coast of China and the alkali rich cave granite zone along the coast of Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong.

The park is rich in geological relics, integrating cave granite landforms, volcanic rock landforms, river erosion landforms, coastal landforms and water landscapes. It can be called a Grand View Park of geological landforms in the southeast coast.

In November, 2016, it concluded sister parks with Wangwushan Daimeishan UNESCO World Geopark.
