School of Resources and Environment, Henan University of Technology

The school of resources and environment of Henan University of technology was founded in 1909 by the mining and metallurgy department. The Department of geology was established in 1961, renamed the Department of resources and environmental engineering in 1995, and renamed the school of resources and environment in 2005. The college has six undergraduate majors: resource exploration engineering, geological engineering, environmental engineering, hydrology and water resources engineering, geo information science and technology, and biotechnology.
