Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark participated in the 36th Annual Conference of the Tourism Geoscience and Geopark Research Branch of the Geological Society of China and the Seminar on the Construction and Tourism Development of Shaanxi Liping National Geopark

In order to better promote the innovative and diversified development of geoparks and geotourism, and help local economic construction, Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark participated in the 36th Annual Academic Conference of the Tourism Geoscience and Geoparks Research Branch of the Geological Society of China and the Workshop on the Construction and Tourism Development of Liping National Geopark in Shaanxi Province online on October 20.

A total of 15 experts and professors delivered special reports at the annual conference. The content covers the people and things we should not forget - a review of the development process of tourism geoscience and geoparks, innovative activities of global geoparks, innovative integration of science popularization as a bridge to improve the quality of geoscience tourism, a discussion on the high-quality development path of geoscience tourism, how to play the integration role of nature and culture in the post-pandemic era, Promoting the improvement and upgrading of China's tourism industry, the sharing of ideas and skills in the creation of geoscience science popularization, the exploration and practice of the socialization and participation of geoscience tourism, and the "new stage, new concept and new pattern of geoscience tourism".
