Xiaogoubei (Galaxy Gorge) Scenic Area is located in Shaoyuan Town, northwest of Jiyuan City, Henan Province, at the junction of Shanxi and Henan, 55 kilometers away from the urban area of Jiyuan. To the east, it borders the Wangwu Mountain National Scenic Area, to the west, it borders Yuanqu County, Shanxi Province. To the south, it faces the Three Gorges of the Yellow River in Xiaolangdi and faces the ancient capital of Luoyang. To the north, it borders the Taihang Primitive Forest and Yangcheng County, Shanxi Province. It is not only the essence of Wangwushan Daimeishan World Geopark, but also the "Hometown of Chinese Nuwa Mythology" named by the country. Shaoyuan Creation Mythology Group has been included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.

This is the most typical and spectacular volcanic landform in North China, which clearly records the entire process of Wangwu Mountain's transformation from sea to mountain and the fragmentation and splicing of the ancient continent of North China. It can truly be called a world geological wonder of changes and earth shaking!
