Jiyuan Veterans Workers Hotel

The Jiyuan Veterans Workers Hotel is located in Zhengping Village, Sili Town, Jiyuan City, Henan Province. It was renovated from the remaining buildings of the May 31 Arsenal. Its predecessor was the ice cream factory, boiler room, supply and marketing cooperative, and bathhouse of May 31. During the construction process, the hotel adheres to respecting the original architecture, retaining the original walls, displaying the age of the building, showcasing the culture of veteran workers, preserving the appearance of the original building, achieving a distinction between old and new, highlighting military elements, and integrating modern art and historical memory. The hotel has multiple guest rooms, two restaurants, and can accommodate more than 150 people for dining at the same time. It is also equipped with leisure areas such as tea ceremony performances, cave bars, and cafes. Outdoor bamboo forests, fruits and vegetables are widely planted, and there is an independent water system surrounding it. Backed by the towering Taihang Mountains, it has both northern scenery and southern charm.
