Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark launches science popularization activities on campus - entering Jishui Middle School in Jiyuan City

To promote geological science popularization education, fully leverage the main responsibility of geological parks and the function of geological relic resources popularization and publicity, and stimulate the enthusiasm of primary and secondary school students to learn geological and natural science knowledge. On February 27th, the Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark Management Bureau entered Jishui Middle School in Jiyuan City and carried out a science popularization activity with the theme of "geological science popularization" on campus.

At the event, the staff of the Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark Management Bureau gave a detailed introduction to the geological heritage resources of our Geopark, the significance of building a Geopark, the typical landforms of Wangwushan and Daimeishan, and the basic knowledge of the formation of paleontological fossils. They watched the special promotional video of Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark, which was welcomed by the students.

At the end of the event, the Wangwushan Daimeishan World Geopark Management Bureau donated popular science books and learning materials such as "Volcano Grandpa", "Rock School", "Wangwushan -Daimeishan World Geopark Study Handbook" to the school.
