Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark Enters Jiyuan No.1 Middle School to Hold a Special Lecture and Book Gift Activity on the Promotion of Geosciences on Campus

On the afternoon of December 17th, a special lecture and book giveaway activity on the popularization of geological disciplines in Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark was held in the lecture hall of Jiyuan No.1 High School. This event is jointly organized by the Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark Management Bureau, Henan Province Landscape Geological Tourism Resources Development Co., Ltd., and Jiyuan No.1 Middle School Talent School.

During the event, Liu Xiaoling, the director of the Geological Park Management Bureau, introduced the basic situation of the Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark to nearly 600 teachers and students, and specially invited Zhang Zhonghui, a judge of the National Geopark of China and Deputy Secretary General of the China Tourism Geoscience and Geopark Research Association, to use the Wangwushan- Daimeishan World Geopark as an example. She gave explanations on "what is a geological park, the development and current situation of geological park construction, the geological parks around us, exploring magical geological landscapes, and geology is science around us", and interacted with on-site students.

After the event, the leaders of the Geological Park Management Bureau and Shanshui Geological Tourism Resources Development Co., Ltd. presented more than 1500 books, including the "Wangwushan- Daimeishan World Geopark Album," "Science Popularization Handbook," "Rock School (Chinese English)," and "Strolling in the World of Geology and Humanity," to Jiyuan No.1 Middle School Yingcai School, which were deeply loved by teachers and students.
