Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark invited to participate in the 5th China Volcanic Geopark Conference

On August 24th, the 5th China Volcano Geopark Conference was held in Zhouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. The conference brought together representatives of the UNESCO World Geopark Council, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Provincial Forestry Bureau, well-known geopark experts at home and abroad, and geopark managers to jointly explore the protection and development of volcanic geological relics.

The conference focused on the theme of "Volcanic Rock Landscape and Regional Economic Sustainable Development". Participants had in-depth academic exchanges, shared research achievements and management experience of volcanic geoparks, and explored methods and approaches to promote scientific research, popular science education, sustainable tourism development, cooperation and exchange in geoparks.
