Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark participates in the 8th UNESCO Global Geopark Management and Development Training Course

On October 10th, the 8th Global Geopark Management and Development Training Course, hosted by the Global Geopark Network (GGN) and the UNESCO Global Geopark Secretariat, and organized by China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and Xiangxi Global Geopark, was held at Xiangxi Global Geopark. The theme of this training is "UNESCO Global Geoparks and Sustainable Development", which lasts for 7 days. The UNESCO Global Geoparks Council, the Executive Board of the Global Geoparks Network, and renowned experts in global geoparks in China are invited to serve as teaching experts. Through expert lectures, problem analysis, and field visits, training and discussions will be conducted on the concept, standards, application, evaluation, and re evaluation of global geoparks.

Wang Shuangniu and other personnel from Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark participated in this training.During the conference, Wang Shuangniu shared the good experience and practices in management and construction development of Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark in the past 18 years since its successful application, and actively exchanged construction achievements with colleagues from foreign and domestic geoparks to better promote and advertise Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark.
