Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark participates in the 56th World Earth Day "Friendly Sister Park" and 6th Asia Pacific Geopark Week activities

From April 7th to 10th, 2025,Wangwushan-Daimeishan Global Geopark was invited by the Yimeng Mountain Global Geopark Management Bureau to participate in the 56th World Earth Day "Friendly Sister Park" and the 6th Asia Pacific Geopark Week held in Mengyin County.

During the event, several geological experts provided in-depth explanations on the experience of geological park re evaluation work, from interpreting the evaluation index system to sharing external evaluation experience, from analyzing the achievements and problems of geological park in resource protection, scientific research and popularization, community development, etc., to sharing advanced cases of re evaluation work. They brought valuable insights to the participants and provided valuable experience for the future park construction and re evaluation work of our geological park.

This event strengthened the friendly cooperation with Yimeng Mountain Global Geopark and provided a good platform for both sides to learn and exchange ideas. My geological park will take this event as an opportunity to apply the advanced experience learned to practical work, continuously improve the management and protection level of the geological park, and promote the high-quality development of the geological park.
